Updated the site today - sorry about any technical difficulties
you may have experienced trying to listen to audio before
today! Problem solved for all browsers now. (I hope).
Uploaded new pictures all over and the first page of the
gallery is up! A lot more to come.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been in a serious
crunch writing a ton of music for that television talk show...
You know, that one that starts with an "O". After 3 weeks
without a day off, I finally can relax. For a week or two...
Recorded some overdubs for Firefall's latest single
yesterday! Yaahooo! This is a really good song - probably
the best I've heard Jock write. Can't wait until it's done and
available. Will post out here as soon as it is. Also starting
the touring season in earnest this week. It's been a slow
year of touring up until now - must be the gas prices. But
that changes this weekend! Happy 4th!!

Spent the morning getting photos taken for upcoming and
future press releases. I found a fantastic photographer in
Evergreen, Colorado named Eric Bakke. Eric is the
photographer used by the Denver Broncos, is a total
professional (I was blown away - he's an absolute artist)
and he has a list of credits a mile long. Check out the
photos on his site. What a blast! I can't wait for to see the
finished product and post them out here for everyone to see!

Well, my solo jazz CD Monterey is now officially available!
Thanks for your patience! It's taken a lot of work but it's
paying off now. The CD sounds great and looks great. Also
the Firefall touring season officially kicks off for me this
week, starting in Colorado. We'll be in Touleme, CA and in
Thousand Oaks, CA at the end of the month and in Florida
in mid May. Check our schedule for more info and come out!
You're sure to recognize the songs and have some fun.

What a crazy year it's been so far. I want to say hello to my
friends at The Weather Channel! I've been getting emails
from people who've been hearing my music out there,
wondering who I am and telling me how much they love the
music. Wow! I was blown away with the response I've
gotten. Hold tight - the Monterey CDs have arrived at my
house and are being shipped to CDBaby.com today. Once
there, I'll activate a link from my site to my page there and
you can purchase copies and downloads. Just a few days
away!
More news - since I mentioned The Weather Channel, I
better expand on that - my smooth jazz songs started being
played in regular rotation on TWC in January 2008!
Waaaaahoooo!! I didn't want to say anything until people
could actually hear my stuff being played every day. Well it's
happening - and I have to say thanks the TWC! Not only is
TWC a great place, showcasing talented writers and artists,
but the community of jazz lovers out there is awesome as
well! You guys (and gals) rock! Thanks for the warm
welcome into the community!
Even more news - I have rejoined Firefall! Some of you may
know I was with Firefall from 2003 - 2006 but took last year
off from touring to concentrate on composing, but I'm back.
Don't remember who Firefall is? They were a platinum
selling rock/Americana band in the late 70's and early 80's.
Click here for more info. It's just a great gig, a great bunch of
guys. It's classic rock music and loud, but hey, I get to
stretch out in a major way as a saxophonist and flutist.
Check out our schedule and come on out!

Well, it's been quite a while since I wrote out here... The CD
took longer than expected to get finished - but it's finally
here!! Monterey is done! It looks great and sounds perfect.
I'll post in a few days and activate the link to purchase a
copy and download mp3s - lots of news coming!

Just returned from the 2007 TAXI Road Rally - what a
fantastic time. I met some incredible composers and
musicians while I was there. There was a fair amount of
"hobnobbing" going on, though I admit that I personally
refrained from nobbing any hobs.
And if any musicians out there are wondering if TAXI is legit,
the answer is an emphatic YES! I'm living proof - it's the real
thing...

The art work for Monterey is really close! Been chatting with
Keith Rosenhagen from Blue Dot Creative about a few
small details. The music is mastered, the artwork is days
away and then... I can't wait.
And Keith, btw, is a fantastic writer, singer and guitarist in
his own right. He's one of my favorite people to play with in
the world. & I was lucky enough to play on his second
record. And now back to dreaming about Monterey being
done...
